About Young Hadene

Young Hadene is a Haitian-born, Toronto-based hip-hop and drill artist known for blending Caribbean influences with Toronto's underground sound. Born February 10, 1998, and raised between Haiti, Florida, and Toronto, his music reflects resilience, ambition, and sharp storytelling.

His journey began in the vibrant cultural landscape of Haiti, where he was exposed to the rhythmic complexities of Kompa and the spiritual depth of Rara music. Moving to Florida at a young age introduced him to American hip-hop, with artists like Tupac, The Notorious B.I.G., and Lil Wayne becoming major influences. Eventually settling in Toronto, Young Hadene found himself at the intersection of these diverse musical traditions, creating a unique sound that resonates with the city's multicultural youth.

Young Hadene's music explores themes of loyalty, betrayal, elevation, and survival, delivered with a confident, strategic, and cinematic tone. His lyrics paint vivid pictures of life in Toronto's immigrant communities, addressing issues of cultural identity, ambition, and the pursuit of success in a new country.

In 2018, he founded Str8hitsRecords, an independent label committed to supporting artists from diverse backgrounds who are navigating the complexities of the music industry while staying true to their cultural roots.
